Welcome to the home page of the Pioneer Professional Firefighters.
Located in Southern El Dorado County, the Pioneer Professional Firefighters serve the citizens of Grizzly Flats, Somerset, Fairplay, Mount Aukum, Omo Ranch, Outingdale and the Sand Ridge area. With highly trained Full-Time Firefighter/Paramedics and Firefighter/EMT's, we respond to all types of emergency and non-emergency calls 24 hours per day, seven days a week 365 days a year. This service is maintained by the Pioneer Fire Protection District. We are proud members of the California Professional Firefighters and the International Association of Firefighters.
We are always taking donations in support of Pioneer Fire Protection, all proceeds go directly to the district for equipment purchases. Thank you for your support!
